Participants can register for the full course (Symposium + Laboratory Sessions) or only to attend the Symposium. Note that there are a limited number of places for the Laboratory Sessions.
Participation will be credited 1.5 credits according to the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System).
In order to get them ascribed to you, it is mandatory to attend the full program, i.e. lab session and lectures, and always sign the attendance sheet. You are also required to take an exam. If you want to receive the credits, please indicate your intention on the registration form or let us know email to acorreia@ibmc.up.pt

The registration fee includes notes, lunches, coffee breaks and Social Program. Students should enclose a letter confirming their status signed by their supervisors. Registrations will be confirmed (by e-mail) after reception of the registration fee.

 

TRAVEL AWARD

The European Science Foundation in the framework of the project REMEDIC will fund 8 Travel Awards on a competitive basis to assist graduate students and post-docs to present their work at the symposium. Priority will be given to applicants from countries participating in the REMEDIC consortium, then from countries in which the ESF has a Member Organisation (MO) or from any other country in which a contributing organisation is based and, finally, other countries. Candidates should send an application to acorreia@ibmc.up.pt until July 8^th. The travel award will consist of a contribution of 500 € to cover the registration costs, as well as aid other travel and accommodation expenses. Applicants should send a motivation letter (maximum 1 page) and the abstract of the work they intend to present, together with a letter of support from their supervisors.

 

 

PAYMENT DETAILS

All the names and the information must be clearly stated on the bank transfer and payment receipt (in registration form), in order for the Organizing Secretariat to trace and acknowledge payment. Full payment of the total costs should be made in EURO (payments in any other currency will not be accepted). Currency exchanges or bank fees have to be paid by the registrant.
